Your Local Council who secured Warm Homes Funding for the HOME COUNTIES and are the lead partner in the scheme.

ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR AND MAIDENHEAD

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is working to improve the environmental sustainability of the region so that future generations will still be able to enjoy the rich and diverse environment it is currently known for.

Improving the sustainability of the council helps to reduce expenditure on key costs, such as energy and waste. Being sustainable also ensures that the local environment is maintained for future generations.

RUNNYMEDE BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough of Runnymede consists of  7,804 hectares, of which 6,078 hectares are green belt (Census, 2011) and it includes the settlements of:

SPELTHORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

Spelthorne has a population of approximately 95,000 people, covering some 20 square miles.

The main areas are Ashford, Shepperton, Staines-upon-Thames, Stanwell and Sunbury.  


The area comprises 65% Green Belt and 30% of the total area is either floodplain or reservoir.  The River Thames forms much of the Borough boundary.

National Grid and Community Interest Company, Affordable Warmth Solution (AWS) have launched a £150m Warm Homes Fund (WHF) designed to support local authorities, registered social landlords and other organisations working in partnership with them, to address some of the issues affecting fuel poor households.
